ABOUT

Most of my friends call me Ash. I am a storyteller and creator. I am a lover of Jesus and of people and of coffee.

I love letting people know that they’re not alone and that’s really why this blog exists. It started as a way to just tell funny stories about my life and it slowly became a place of telling people the good, the messy, and the raw things that bind humanity together. We all experience the same emotions–joy, loss, boredom, excitement, grief, heartache, longing and we’re all just looking for someone to say “yeah, me too.”

This is a place where you can come and take a breath. You can read the words of a thirty-something who is just trying to live knowing she is loved and sharing that love with others

Wow! It seems I’m a lot like you. Minus the coffee part, of course. 🙂 I’m an INFJ.

How can I NOT comment on this? As an ENFP, adventurer/dreamer, writer, and self-described bundle of paradoxes- who was almost named Ashlin (but they thought Ashelyn was easier? Haha)- I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that I found your blog and I can’t wait to read more. You’re saying things I maybe haven’t found the words for yet. And that’s pretty amazing. Thanks for sharing your voice and your heart, from one sister in Christ to another!

Wow. Thank you so much. Seriously, that’s so incredible. I wish we could sit down and share a cup of coffee because you sound so incredibly awesome (and a lot like me). Thanks for the encouragement, it’s more appreciated than I can even say.

I’m an INFP and an outgoing introvert! You sound like someone who might’ve done the World Race.. Have you? I just got back from it! I’d love to meet another INFP sometime! Haha

Hey!! I haven’t done the World Race but I know a lot of people that have and have some connections with Adventures!! Yes, I don’t meet a lot of INFP people, so I would love to meet another!

Fantastically refreshing. Thanks so much for your lovely written words. It seems there are many of us writer/photographer/traveler/dreamer/outgoing-introverts? (we should have a convention!) I’ve spent the better part of an hour just reading and allowing your insight soothe the restlessness in my heart today.

YES! I think a convention of us types would do the world a lot of good! 🙂 Thank you so much! I’m so glad that my words have brought something to your life.

Wow, look at all these INFPs, I am one as well! I am always excited when I meet another one, because it is kind of like spotting a unicorn 😉 and INFPs are alike in so many interesting ways, I am so glad someone else understands the idea of an outgoing introvert! I also am a lover of Jesus, but not coffee, and your words are so wonderful and inspirational, I am definitely a new loyal blog follower.
    I hope you’re having a great day!
