Get Going

I don’t know what you’re waiting for.

If you’re waiting for the perfect time.. it won’t come.

If you’re waiting for the right circumstance.. you’ll never be ready.

Stop. Stop waiting for all the right things to fall into the right places because I promise you; that’s just not going to happen. Got something you really want? Go after it. Not sure what you want? Figure out what you don’t want and get away from that; along the way you’ll stumble into the good stuff.

ImageWant to change the world? Decide to and just do it. You’re not too small, too busy, too poor, too broken. Pack your bags and go. Or unpack your bags that you packed when you ran away from what really mattered. It’s not too late for you. It’s not too late for me.

You just keep thinking it’s all going to fall in your lap. Well, this ain’t Hollywood, Disney World or The Hundred Acre Wood. No one’s going to hand it to you, no one is going to make it happen. There’s no need for you to keep waiting; ’cause the world is already waiting for you. Nothing is ever going to happen unless you move.

You aren’t supposed to spend life waiting; you’re supposed to spend it living.

Now there are times to calm down, get quiet, get alone and ask the hard questions. There are moments in life when you’re just going to have to be still and listen to that whisper that’s telling you where to go; don’t try to figure all that out on your own. But when you know, start preparing, then start walking, then run like you’re running for your life… ‘cause that’s exactly what you’ll be doing.

Stop waiting on security and start living out of it. Know who God is, know who you are and leave all the other questions in the past. Either you want the kind of life that will make you look back in joy, awe and laughter at the end of your years… or you don’t. And if you want to look back at the end of your life and say “I lived comfortable and safe” then decide that and move out of the way for the rest of us. There are some of us who don’t want to wait for this life to simply end. Some of us want to adventurously crash into the next life realizing that the end of this one will simply be the beginning of the biggest adventure to come.
